All those times Mom has said “how hard is it to replace the trash bag after you take out the old one?” “why can’t anyone replace the empty toilet paper roll?” Every time she’d ask those questions I’d ask myself, why is she getting so upset about it? Now that I’ve grown up a little and live on my own with a roommate, I see why Mom would get frustrated about those little things. My roommate does the same thing.

We have two restrooms and I had to replace the toilet paper roll with a new one yesterday AND today in both of them.

Lesson learned: Do what moma tells you, cuz one day it’ll happen to you!

Just had the worst freak-out ever.

It had been a while since I last saved all my crap on my computer. Crap= movies, music, pics…not really crap but you know what I mean. Anyways, my external hard drive has lately been a pain in the ass to actually connect to the computer. ( I think I need a new case for it or something) Anyways, I proceeded to move folders around in the Movie folder, then went on to the Music folder. Wasn’t sure what was saved already the Music folder took me a while. I got distracted by the internet and then realised I haven’t saved my pictures yet. So when I opened the Picture folder on my external hd, to my dismay it was EMPTY. “WHAT?!” I said outloud. Turning to a panic, I checked my Movie folder…”WHAT?!” it was empty! When I checked my Music folder EVERYTHING was in there! WTF!? the movies I can always download…um “get” again, but the pictures…man, the pictures I can never get back. So I unplugged the USB and connected it to my laptop. Again, after a few tries of trying to get it to connect it finally did, and to my relief there were ALL my pics and movies. FUCK. Not cool. Actually had a few tears of joy/relief.

Note to self: Get seperate external hard drives for music/movies/pictures

It was pretty hardcore. Woke up around 8am, thunder and lightning. Went back to sleep around 9am. At 10 am the “thunder” apparently shook my apartment building…no lie. My bed shook. WTF. THAT woke me up.

All I wanted to do was sleep.

Road trip with the family and boyfriend to Las Vegas begins in two weeks. Will be making the main stop at Vegas, and pit stops on the way home in Phoenix, AZ, Tucson, AZ, and Las Cruces, NM. Should be quite the trip, I can’t wait!
